Dragons may be distintive on their own just by the appearance, but what truly represents a Dragon gameplay-wise is their Stat Data. As the principal mechanism of the game, Dragons are composed with a complex group of Stats divided in three major Categories - Racing, Battle, and Combat - this group of Stats are what determines their performance, endurance, and reliability in Minigames. The Stats also help determine the opponents the player will have to fight and their behavior during quest.

Racing

acing is the group of stats that determines your Dragon's speed, pitch, and turn performance, it's what allows the Dragons to have different flight styles from long turns and fast acceleration, to quick pitchs and turns. There are two major elements around the Racing Stats - Dragon Card and Flight Data.

Dragon Card

Dragon Card can be described as a "calculated overall" of the Dragon's Flight Data, the Card lists the Racing Stats through four labels using a 1 to 10 ranking system - Max. Speed, Pitch Rate, Turn Rate, and Acceleration.

  • Max. Speed determines your Dragon's speed.
  • Pitch Rate determines your Dragon's ascend and descend speed, the higher the number, the quickler the pitch will be.
  • Turn Rate determines your Dragon's turning, just like Pitch Rate, the higher it is, the quicker the turn will be.
  • Acceleration determines how quickly your Dragon can reach the maximum speed.

Card Reliability

Players often utilize the Dragon Card as their go-to guide for the Racing Stats. Althought the Dragon Card is widely used as such, truth be told, the Dragon Cards stats are very inaccurate to the Dragon's real, in-depth stats - A Dragon may have 7 of Pitch in the Dragon Card but have the near equivalent of 3 of Pitch instead.

As for v3.14.0, Titans display a "boosted" Dragon Card Data - in truth, it boosts nothing. What it does instead is add an additional 10% ([Stat]*0.1) to the Dragon Card labels only, so a Speed Stinger's Max. Speed of 10 becomes 11 in the Titan's Dragon Card, but the real Flight Data of the Speed stat remains exactly the same as the Adult's.

Flight Data

Flight Data are a set of attributes that determine the Dragon's real Pitch, Turn, and Speed in the game. The Flight Data is divided in three sub-groups - Gliding, Flying, and Racing.

  • Gliding is the Flight Data for the Dragon's gliding in both Open World and in Flight Club;
  • Flying is the Flight Data for the Dragon's flight in both Open World and in Flight Club;
  • Racing is the Flight Data for the Dragon's flight in Thunder Run Racing.

There are a total of 23 attributes - 4 of which are exclusive to Gliding and 2 of which are unused. The Stats will be seperated by sections - Turn, Pitch, and Speed.

Turn

  • RollTurnRate: How fast a Dragon "rolls" (turns), a high Roll gives a twitchy turn, a low Roll gives a spongy turn.
  • RollDampRate: A counteract to the Roll, in shorts, how quick your Dragon will "unroll".
  • MaxRoll: Max limit to the roll in angle (degrees).
  • YawTurnRate: The constant of the Roll - just like it, twice the value, twice the turning.
  • YawTurnFactor: TurnFactor, how much speed affects the Rolls.

Pitch

  • PitchTurnRate: How fast a Dragon goes up and down, just like RollTurnRate, a high pitch gives a fast dive/pitch.
  • PitchDampRate: A counteract to the Pitch, in shorts, how quick your Dragon will "unpitch".
  • Fly/Glide Max Up Pitch:
  • Fly/Glide Max Down Pitch:
  • Climb AccelRate:
  • Dive AccelRate:

Speed

  • Speed:Min:
  • Speed:Max:
  • SpeedDampRate:
  • ManualFlapAccel:
  • ManualFlapTimer:
  • BrakeDecel:

Flight Data Formula

  • Turn requires the calculation of Roll, TurnRate, and DampRate to calculate the turning.
    • Roll is MaxRoll/360
    • TurnRate is Roll-([InputX]*[RollTurnRate]*[deltaTime]*0.2)
      • InputX is a range between -1 and +1 depending on the direction (left and right) you choose.
      • Default deltaTime is 0.1

Battle

Battle is a group of data that determines your Dragon's endurance and damage performance during Battle Events, the data that's used to determine such performance are divided in two categories - Visible and Hidden.

  • Visible
    • Shot Limit: Number of shots a Dragon has.
    • Base Damage: Default damage done by the Dragon.
    • Battle Health:
  • Hidden
    • Range:
    • Critical Hit Chance:
    • Cooldown:
    • Recharge:

Combat

Combat is a group of data that determines your Dragon's firepower and endurance in Dragon Tactics, the data used to determine the performance are Attackpower, Firepower, Movement, Healpower, Critial Chance, Dodge/Defence, and Health.

  • Attackpower:
  • Firepower:
  • Movement:
  • Healpower:
  • Critical Chance:
  • Defence:
  • Health:
