Eel Roast/Eel Frequency

Eel frequency describes the maximum amount of eels that are active (on the screen) at the same time.

Whenever an eel is shot or leaves the screen a different eel will be spawned immediately after, consequently, the term "frequency" is not entirely accurate, as the frequency of eels spawning depends on how fast the player shoots eels and the speed of the eels.
