This is the only quest that can be repeated over and over again. It should be noted that this quest is NOT a glitch, on the contrary, it's been the only repeatable quest ever since its release in an unknown versions (possibly during the v1.9 HTTYD 2 Update from 15th of October, 2014), it served as another way to gather Coins and other Experience Points before the release of Stable Missions.
Hey there! I love talking about the beginning with Toothless. You know, the scientific method isn't just a theory in some book. It's really useful in the real world. Let me tell you how I used it!
But before I could test out that hypothesis, I realized I had another problem on my hands. I needed to convince Toothless that I meant no harm, or I'd never be able to help him fly again.
When I saw Toothless try to eat the fish, it gave me an idea. Maybe he'd like me if I gave him something to eat.
It worked out with Toothless and it will work out with your dragon, too! Click on [your dragon's name], click on the eating utensils, and click on the fish you want to give the dragon!
I had to adjust my theory on the fly when my testing showed it was false! The good thing about the Scientific Method is that nothing is wrong. All data we learn can help us get closer to the hypothesis that is true!
Because we learned our previous theory was false, we now know that dragons are really afraid of eels. Play a game of Eel Roast with your dragon! That's always fun.
4- Click on [your dragon's name] and play Eel Roast
I love Toothless so much. He's my best friend! I never get old of talking about how we became friends. If you ever want me to talk about it again, just come on by and ask Wartihog!
Oh wow... That's amazing! Hiccup is my hero... and so are you.
Glitches
Quite possibly one of the most known and common glitches that appeared since an unknown date and stayed despite many updates being done since then. Whenever the player logs in and already completed this quest, Wartihog's first dialogue box will appear as if the player reactivated the quest. Clicking the check mark will result in the game telling the player to "talk to Hiccup about the scientific method". While it can be easily ignored, making the quest disappear from the journal after a good while, it often becomes annoying and can scare first-time players;
It's suspected that this could be a safety measure against Quest Glitches as the Tale Quest often appears when something goes wrong with the main Quest/s - this way, when the player reopens the game, the Tale Quest is gone and the other would often reappear and/or go back to normal.
