I have to give props where they're due. Astrid and Hiccup have done an excellent job of rallying the troops and getting the island prepared for the most important event of the year. I need to reclaim my throne as the best, and to that point, I need to beat all possible competitors. Tell Eret about Thawfest and let him know I'm going to crush him.

Interesting! I look forward to it. My bones have been feeling a bit restless, so this little competition will do me a world of good! Now, I don't know what's next on the docket but I'm ready to help out wherever I am needed. Please, ask Fishlegs what I can do to help.

The Thawfest games used to be a way for Berkians to show off to each other (especially a certain Viking family who shall go unnamed). Competition is good, but I think it would be even better to use this to bring us all together. This opening ceremony will symbolize that, even with Snotlout's extravagant additions.
