Skins
Skins are the Facial Paint of the Dragons, they serve purely for customization sake and can be purchased in Store, rewarded in Events or in Mystery Chests around the map. There's a total of 14 Skins, two with Variants. Each skin is species exclusive meaning you can only use a skin for its respected dragon.
Before an unknown update, the skins could be bought as many times as the player wanted, though this would difficult other mechanism such as the Mystery Chests where players would often get the same Skin they've already bought. Nowadays, skins can only be bought once and will disappear form the Store once bought, the same applies with the Mystery Chests.
How to Equip
To equip a skin, the player must click on their Viking and select the "My Avatar" icon (Viking icon), then on the top left of the Viking Customization screen, click on the Dragon icon that will take you to the Dragon customization menu. On the right, there are three options, the middle one is for the skins. The menu will only list the skins that you own for the currently selected Dragon Specie, for example, if you're about to customize a Sand Wraith, it will only show the skins for said dragon.
Before v3.11.0, August 20th, 2020, all the skins would be displayed and if the skin didn't correspond to the respected species, the pop-up "[Dragon Species #1] [Skin Name] cannot be used by your [Dragon Species #2]" would appear.
The Skins are divided in three categories: Stripe Skins, Pattern Skins and Bodily Skins.
