The Bewilderbeast Stable is one of the seven available Stables released on July 21st, 2022 for 500 Gems (400 for members). It's unique for its brand-new minigame, Bewilderbeast Skills, the ability to use the Bewilderbeast to aid the gameplay.

The Stable is based on, if not, uses the exact same map as Valka's Sanctuary, it focuses on Valka's Mountain. Built with both the Bewilderbeast's ice blasts and the natural hexagonal/polygonal basaltic formations from previous volcanic activities. The entrance of the Sanctuary is met with a wide waterfall and a dim but welcoming light shining over the ice-filled ceiling, with a bridge to the main area. The main area is spaceful and wide with a caldera filled with water, providing home to the Bewilderbeast. It contains two pathways, mostly made in hexagonal basaltic rocks, that extend to each end of the area. There's two empty slots on both sides, and the active slot is to the right of the bridge.

Behind the Bewilderbeast, there's two ice pillars on each side, the Dragons that fly around randomize between different species and colors, and the number of Dragons randomize between one to three Dragons.

Bewilderbeast Skills

Bewilderbeast Skills is a minigame introduced right after purchasing the Stable with The Bewilderbeast Stable Quest, the minigame involves using the Bewilderbeast to both aid the gameplay with boosts, and obtain prizes from unique chests, all under the form of Abilities. The Abilities have a cooldown that can be sped up with Gems, and each Ability has an unique function.

I do want to make one final note that these abilities are shared across all versions of the Bewilderbeast Stable. Owning two stable for instance does not give you double the amount of activation's.
— Valka [src]

Precisely how the Quest mentions, the Minigame is shared between the Viking, meaning owning two Bewilder Stable will not grant you two Bewilderbeast Skills minigames, you'll instead get 4 new slots and the Bewilderbeast from your first Bewilder Stable will remain the same with the same cooldown and perks. However, you can purchase a Bewilder Stable and manage a "second" Bewilderbeast, and as result, while perks such as XP boosts and Fish are Viking-locked, you can have two Bewilderbeast have a chance of rewarding Gems that indeed are still shared across the account. The best comparison would be to Stable Missions - you can have two Vikings complete Long Night Flight, you can have two Vikings hope to get Gems from the Bewilderbeast.

Each Ability takes Gems to reactivate, the amount of Gems required to reactive decrease according to how much time is left for the cooldown to end. This means if the cooldown has 5 hours left, it will not take 190 Gems to speed up.

Fish Spray

Call upon the Bewilderbeast to rain fish down upon the Sanctuary!
Reward: 5-20 Randomized Fish
Cooldown: 10 hours Speed Up: 160 Gems on start Activation Area

Fish Spray is the most basic Ability of them all, it's directly based on the fish spray scene from How To Train Your Dragon 2 and it serves as a non-Membership version of the Fish Trap in The Farm. Every 10 hours, the player can activate the Ability to make the Bewilderbeast spew a random quantity between 5 to 20 fish into the walkway of the Stable, varying from Herrings to Northern Wolffish.

Somewhat contrary to the ability's description, the quantity of fish are actually pre-determined by 8 groups of fish and each group has a Min and Max mapping of how many can appear (e.g: Angler-Viper-Salmon has a min of 5 fish and max of 15 fish). However, the amount of each species within a group are not evenly distributed. For example, the player get the Angler-Viper-Salmon group and it spawns 15 fish, instead of spawning 5 File:Fish angler.png, 5 File:Fish viper.png and 5 File:Fish salmon.png, it instead spawns 8 File:Fish angler.png, 6 File:Fish viper.png and 1 File:Fish salmon.png.

Fish waiting to be collected

Once the fish are sprayed, the player has to manually collect the sprayed fish scattered around the central area, the fish are highlighted by a golden sparkle to be easily seen. If the game ever crashes/gets shut down, or if the player leaves the Stable, the fish will stay in the Stable, waiting to be claimed. As result, the player cannot reactivate the Ability until ALL fish have been collected, only then the player can refill the Ability to get more fish.

Alpha Rally

Call upon the Bewilderbeast to inspire Growth, allowing your Dragons to earn Double XP!
Reward: 2 hours of Double Dragon XP
Cooldown: 24 hours Speed Up: 192 Gems on start Activation Area

Alpha Rally is an Ability that activates a double Dragon Bonding XP Dragon Bonding XP boost for 2 full hours. Reactivating the Ability will not grant a second boost, instead, it will restart the 2-hour boost from the very beginning. Meaning if a player wishes to continuosly use the boost, the player has to utilize the 2 hours and only refill the Ability once it ends.

The boost will affect ALL Minigames' Dragon Bonding XP rewards, for instance, completing a Flight Club level with an A+ usually rewards 15 Dragon Bonding XP but with the boost, it rewards 30 Dragon Bonding XP. Stable Missions are also affected, it's just the visual graphic that remains the same so mission Hide and Seek will show 180 Dragon Bonding XP, but once it's completed, it will reward 360 Dragon Bonding XP. Interestingly, althought refilling the Ability doesn't restack it, what can be stacked with is Membership's double XP boost.

If the player has both the Bewilderbeast's XP boost and Membership's XP boost, players can get a whooping 4x XP boost stack in the majority of the Minigames. Some exceptions are Stable Missions due to being immune to Membership's XP boost.

King of Dragons

Call upon the Bewilderbeast to unleash a torrent of ice, revealing a

unique Mystery Ice Chest!

Reward: 1 Bewilderbeast Mystery Ice Chest
Cooldown: 1 Week Speed Up: 672 Gems on start

King of Dragons is the last Ability of them all. Every 24 hours, the player can activate the Ability to get a free Bewilder Mystery Ice Chest, containing rewards such as pieces of the Bewilderbeast Armor, or blueprints of the pieces. The player can re-activate the Ability to get another chest.

Trivia

  • The Bewilderbeast starts of asleep and will only wake up if the players walks closer to them.
