Loki's Maze of Mayhem is essentially the "original" Loki's Maze, being based on Halloween and filled with a more Halloween-themed decoration. Before, it was called Loki's Maze of Mayhem with the entrance glowing in green until September 27th, 2018, where the sign changed to a glowing blue and was renamed to Fright of Passage, not only making a shout-out to Dragons: Defenders of Berk' 6th Episode, Fright of Passage but also finally connecting to the actual source of Dreadfall's origin.

The maze has a blue hue throughout the course, with mutiple spider webs and some blue fog in some locations, fitting with the glowing, blue Algae water. In Mayhem, the "boulders" in the "Avoid the Boulder" courses are often dragons associated with Halloween like Whispering Deaths and Boneknappers, after the v1.19 Titan Update from April 20th, 2016, the dragons are often, if not, always in a Titan Stage. Before the course itself, there's always a hallway cave with a Whispering Death cave to the right, with a cave entrance locked with columns and a Whispering Death flying inside it.

The most iconic part of Mayhem is the ending, the ending consists of a deep, cave filled with stalagmites and stalagtites, small, thin tiered-type waterfalls coming from the walls and a light shining on a chest on the very top of a fragile edge, behind the chest, there's a large cave opening. When the player grabs the chest, the floor begins to crumble and a large Screaming Death appears from the cave opening and "roars" (actually displaying the Idle animation), making the step fall down and the player fall down along. The player is teleported to the end of the cave, there they can walk forwards to grab the chest and visit the Tuff and Ruff's Store.

In September 27th, 2018's Fright of Passage, due to the release of the Algae Glow, all dragons in Passage had the Algae Glow, though with a very, if not, completely deceiving result.

Appearance

Note: Because the Ctrl+(-)/(+), Alt+LMB and Alt+RMB camera manipulation controls were found recently, 2015-2017's Mayhem don't have any wide screenshots of the map or the location itself.

The appearance doesn't really change, only the position of the minigames and some of the attributes in it change from year to year. This section is divided by Year, each with both the Map Model and the inner appearance.

Chest Reward

Each year, the reward is based on the theme, and in some cases, it's an item received only exclusively from these mazes. Mayhem seems to be following a pattern of appealing items.
