Dragons don't have as much variety as the Avatar, while the latter can have a customizable skin and eyes, have both war paint and facial decals, and wide variety of clothing and Outfits, Dragons compensate the lack of clothing by having a 3 customizable color slots, and a wide variety of Skins and Saddles.

The colors are separated by sections: Body, Patterns, and Details - Body occupies the entire body color, Patterns occupies most, or some of the patterns in the body, and Details can range between another set of patterns or additional sections of the body such as spikes and claws. The eyes are always in default texture and some additional parts of the body such as teeth, mouth, claws, and underbelly - depending on the Species - also use the default texture.

To customize the Dragon, players need to head to My Avatar → Dragon Icon to switch from Viking Customization to Dragon Customization. Players can freely edit the colors during the four growth gates: After the Dragon hatching, growth to Teen, growth to Adult, and growth to Titan. Outside of these growth gates, players must pay a fee of 15 Gems to change the color - unlike the name that can only be freely edited after the Dragon is born, afterwards it's 50 Gems to modify the name.

Underneath the Dragon is where the player can check the Racing and Combat Stats. On the top, next to the Blacksmith icon, is where the basic information such as Name, Species, Class, Level, Growth Stage, and Skills/Role and Element. Three categories of additional customization can be found to the right.

File:Glow.png The only place players can apply Algae Glow.

Unlike the Avatar that allows you to double-click an item to remove it, Dragon Skins and Saddles need to be manually removed by selecting the prohibition sign on the very beginning of the list.
