Chronological Dragon Release List

Since June 2013, School of Dragons has been releasing Dragons of all sorts of Species, and the more Dragons arrive, the harder it gets to keep up with the release dates. This page is merely a guide and a documentation of ALL the Dragon releases, and a user-friendly version of a now-outdated blog post.

When adding a new Dragon, make sure to first add the date using the MM DD, YY format (e.g. March 1st, 2019), then the Dragon's name. Use this highlight for Membership locked, this highlight for untrainable Dragons, and File:Dragons titan token.png for Dragons with Titan Stage.

2013

The first year of release, contrary to the common thought, the Night Fury would only be released on the next year.

2014

The release of the Night Fury, who would become notorious for its Membership paywall.

2015

The release of the first Expansion Dragon, Groncicle, and the first untrainable-to-trainable Dragon, Timberjack.

2016

The introduction of Titan Stages, starting off with Titan Deadly Nadder, Hideous Zippleback, Gronckle, and Monstrous Nightmare - just like the first year of release. This was also the release of the first untrainable - and giant - Dragon, Green Death.

2020 Titans

  • January 21st: Hobogbbler

2021

The attempt at releasing both hybrid and normal Dragons got paired with the first (and seemingly last) Rescue Riders Dragon, the Golden Dragon. It was also paired with the release of the fourth untrainable - and currently THE biggest Dragon in-game - the Bewilderbeast, who's been requested ever since How To Train Your Dragon 2 came out.
