The Chimeragon is an exclusive Mystery Class Dragon released in December 15th, 2020. This hybrid is more of an amalgamation of several dragons built by Nikora Stormheart who inherited her sister's notes to make a better Chimeragon than the previous one[src]. It was available for 17,000 Treat in the Snoggletog Event 2020.
In spite of being exclusive, the Chimeragon was available from Dragonpalooza 2021 for 15,000 (12,000 for members).
On July 8th, 2021, the Chimeragon was released in the store for 1,000 (800 for members).
On January 11th, 2022, the Chimeragon was added as a new prize during the Snoggletog Event/2021 for 17001 Treat. One Treat over the original prize, the Golden Dragon.
Description
“
|
The Chimeragon was created by Nikora Stormheart, who used her sister Eir's notes to make an ever fiercer dragon. It is unknown exactly what dragons she used, but Bewilderbeast and Sentinel features are prominent. Only the most skilled Vikings can train this dragon due to its aggressive nature.

In Quests
The Chimeragon is mentioned by Nikora Stormheart, she briefly explains that Chimeragons are amalgamations of several species, and using the previous notes used for the previous Chimeragon done by her sister, Eir Stormheart, Nikora created another Chimeragon except it's a "better dragon".
During a debate about whether or not should the player trust Nikora and Harald after the previous events, Nikora brings more information about the Chimeragon, stating that Eir's notes were chaotic and the dragon was difficult to create - it's an investment Nikora doesn't want to go to waste.
Near the end of the Quest, the players get to see one near the ponds at Hobblegrunt Island but cannot touch it.
Trivia
- Although Chimeragons aren't exact species as they vary in appearance depending on how they were created, School of Dragons treats Nikora's Chimeragon variant as such.
- The Chimeragon's appearance greatly resembles the Bewilderbeast.
- School of Dragons' official Twitter revealed that this Chimeragon is an amalgamation between the Bewilderbeast and the Sentinel[1].
- The Chimeragon's nostril smoke alternates between colors according to the fire types it has (red for fire, purple for electric, and cyan for ice).
- On the same note, its fireballs also alternate in order, starting with fire, then electric, ending with ice.
- In spite of being Ice, the Chimeragon is the only dragon to have both a Fire, Electric, and Ice attack on Dragon Tactics.
